Weather delays Angus Bull Week

Angus ‘Bull Week’ has been delayed a week because of logistics issues caused by the heavy rain, but the 380 bulls on offer look great across all the studs, and the extra week’s wait will be well worth it. Chaps like this from Tangihau will go under the auctioneer’s hammer. File picture

The East Coast Angus Association made the decision yesterday to postpone all the Angus rising two-year-old bull sales for a week, because of the bad weather.

The sales were to have started yesterday at Ratanui Angus at Tuai, with that sale postponed now till next Thursday afternoon (June 29) at 2pm.

All the other studs have decided to wait a week.
