Arrests after fire at vacant Elgin house; Tyre slashings investigated

Police apprehended three youths after a fire was started in a vacant house in Scott St, Elgin, near the airport on Monday night. 

Officers were called after noises were heard coming from the house about 6.10pm. 

They found a fire starting in one of the bedrooms and used a dry powder extinguisher to tackle it.
