Bite wound after dog attacks chickens in Te Karaka

A dog involved in an attack incident at Te Karaka last weekend was handed over voluntarily to Gisborne District Council's animal control to be euthanised. 

The property owner suffered a bite wound to his hand when he went to catch a dog he found attacking his chickens.
