We are entering a deep worldwide depression and it is no surprise that log prices are dropping.
Growing trees to feed a depressed market is not "meaningful stable employment".
It means that you are going to go broke.
Not might or maybe.
The Government doesn't want us farming. They want us to 3d print our food.
They can probably 3d print wood now too?
The banks already know that the economy is falling apart so they are foreclosing because the Government has already told them that they would be curtailing carbon-based activity going forward.
They could 3d print more money too, but we are supposed to own nothing and be happy so that our reduced carbon footprints will be sustainable going forward.
We won't need to work at those pesky and dangerous jobs anymore because we will all be given a universal basic income and we can all stay home and watch tv.
Isn't it going to be marvellous?
State control of everything and all you need to do is stay in your room and eat the bugs.
Who needs freedom when state control is "On the House"?
