DQs leave Horouta in dismay: Crew’s technique challenged at waka ama world champs

Two disqualifications of Horouta Waka Hoe women’s crews have left a sour taste after an otherwise successful world sprint championships for the club in Hawaii this month. 

World-class Horouta women’s crews Kaiarahi Toa comfortably won the turns races — a V6 1500m with five turns for the open women and a V6 1000m with three turns for the master 40 (40 to 49) women.
