Three people - one of them an East Coast man - have been arrested in Gisborne in relation to a murder in Lower Hutt mid-December, last year.
Detective Inspector Haley Ryan said the three had been charged in relation to the murder of 39-year-old Rawiri Zane Wharerau and the attempted murder of his 41-year-old brother, last month.
