Good start for Angus bull sales

Tangihau Angus enjoyed an almost total clearance in their on-farm sale yesterday at Rere and set a new high Angus auction price in the district to that point of the sales season of $68,000. A new high price of $68,000 was paid for a bull fairly late in the Tangihau Angus catalogue yesterday as the Rere stud continued the high clearance rate this rising two-year-old bull sale season.

The stud also sold one for $62,000.

Lot 25 sold for the auction high price of $68,000, with bidding off to a fairly slow start then rocketing up to the final mark.
