Clients using Gisborne’s Sunshine Service are greeted by some new faces on a Friday once a month, the result of an initiative to increase the service’s volunteer base.
The faces belong to members of Eastland Port’s senior management team, who take it in turns to help out as assistants to the drivers of the service’s distinctive yellow vans.
