Followers of Rocket Lab will be interested in a documentary to be released on Neon tomorrow night.
The HBO Original doco called Wild, Wild Space follows the rise of the commercial space industry, with a particular focus on three companies – Rocket Lab, Astra and Planet.
Oscar-winning filmmaker Ross Kauffman directed the doco which is based on the New York Times best-selling book When the Heavens Went on Sale by Ashlee Vance.
It follows Rocket Lab and the other two companies for more than a decade and shares extensive behind-the-scenes footage.
It has been described as: “a fast-paced, high-stakes race of epic proportions in which companies compete to blast satellite-carrying rockets into low earth orbit. From exhilarating triumphs to gut-wrenching setbacks, we witness the fierce competition to tackle humanity’s next great frontier.”
