Sewer main collapses near hospital

Contractors and Gisborne District Council staff were pictured above at the site of a sewer main collapse at Lytton Road near the intersection with Ormond Road and right by Gisborne Hospital.

Sucker trucks were on the scene yesterday but the GDC advised people to avoid the intersection.
