The main street in Tolaga Bay/Uawa and a portion of Grey Street in Gisborne are to undergo transformations, thanks to $350,000 grants through Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency.
The two projects were chosen under the Waka Kotahi-driven Streets for People programme 2021-24, which is spreading a $30 million pool across 13 councils nationwide.
