Students bring Manutūkē te reo story to the stage

Music, dance and storytelling brought history to life in Ki Tua o Te Ārai — a production performed by students of Te Whānau Reo Māori o Manutūkē at   War Memorial Theatre in Gisborne this week.

I had a 5yr old moko turned out in a lion costume and the thrill I got watching her playing her part in such a complete performance by every single individual performer was immense.
The seniors were magnificent and we all loved it.
Well done, Manutuke.
