‘Tis the season: Christmas lights go on, all over town

No chance Santa will miss these homes on his rounds on Christmas Eve. The pictures in this gallery show Christmas lights in all their glory outside houses in Elsdon Best Street, Maki Street, Forest Park Lane and Harris Street. And for anyone worried the man in red might not find the houses that are not lit up, those reindeer have pretty good radar. Pictures by Paul Rickard

After a challenging year, Gisborne residents have gone all-out to get into the festive spirit.
Dozens of houses have this year have upped the ante in the Christmas lights stakes.
