Warning after fireplace ashes set fire to ute

Firefighters are again reminding people about the care needed when disposing of fireplace ashes after a ute was burnt out at Makaraka on Sunday night. 

Fire and Emergency NZ were called to the property in Parker Lane at around 11pm.
