Gisborne Hiabs were called in yesterday morning to clean up and recover the trailer of a truck and trailer unit carrying wood chip that came to grief in the railway station yards on Tuesday night. A witness said the trailer tipped and spilled its load into the rail turntable as the driver was backing the rig to park up for the night. The wood chip was bound for Kawerau.
