East Coast better with each outing: Carpenter scores a try in Kaupoi debut

Ngati Porou East Coast skipper Sam Parkes and Fredicia Moulder hold the PJ Sayers Cup in honour of the late Coast selector Percy Sayers. Moulder (nee Sayers) is his niece. The cup is played for between the Coast and Poverty Bay in games held on the Coast. NPEC won 23-17.

The Ngati Porou East Coast Kaupoi now have two Heartland Championship wins in a row.
