Palmerston North have never put together a better first half of rugby than their hat-trick hero Tom Illston-Park’s side did in their 59-21 win here on Saturday.

They launched a seven-try blitz to make heads spin in the opening 35 minutes of their Super 8 First XV clash at the Rectory field.
