Little brother’s treble ices YMP victory cake in Tamatea’s 200th

It was his big brother’s big game but Genesis Tamatea-Bartlett almost stole the show as Poverty Bay Premier club competition leaders YMP rolled on at Te Karaka on Saturday.

Tamatea-Bartlett scored a hat-trick of tries in East Coast Farm Vets YMP’s 34-7 win over GT Shearing Waikohu.

It was the icing on the cake for older brother Willis Tamatea in his 200th Premier appearance.
