Shockers pulled off the upset of the season in local women’s football when they beat Wainui Riverina 2-0 in a Braybrook Cup semifinal at Wainui last Sunday.
Smash Palace Shockers will play YMCA Gisborne Thistle in the final on September 8. Thistle beat Heavy Equipment Services United 2-0 at Childers Road Reserve in the other semifinal.
