Gisborne Thistle tore up the form book and beat FC Western 5-2 in New Plymouth on Saturday.
In doing so, they completed the double over Western and Jimmy Somerton repeated his hat-trick scoring feat of their first meeting in May.
And, as in that game, Somerton had a hand in the Thistle goals he didn’t score.
