Tigers won the next two games - White beat Brown and Groenewald defeated Stevens - for a 5-3 lead.
Lewis-Brown kept Kennels in the match with a win against Te Kira that closed it to to 5-4.
However, further wins to Groenewald and White pushed Tigers out to a 7-4 advantage.
