A thrilling Gillies Electrical and Heat Pumps Tūranga Wāhine competition wound down in Wairoa on Saturday as the Reihana Wyllie-coached Tairāwhiti Contractors YMP beat hosts Adara Tapuae 19-12 in the grand final.
YMP captain and centre Ata Mangu won the toss on a rain-sodden Lambton Square ground and chose to play with the wind.
